so thanks to the premiere of frankenweenie being slammed right next to the premiere of hotel Transylvania, despite all its advertising, it fell short at the box office which I thought was a shame because I thought frankenweenie was the better movie. I have seen both movies by now and I'm not saying hotel transylvania is a bad movie, it is a decent animated film with good humor and good characters, but I liked frankenweenie more because it seemed more heart and care was put into it while hotel transylvania felt like just a commercial movie made for young kids and to promote the halloween holiday. so yeah, while HT may the better for young kids, if you really want to see a well made film with a touching story, go see frankenweenie.

Yes, I do agree with you however. Even though I enjoyed Hotel Transylvania, I do prefer Frankenweenie.

i dont see how ht was just for kids sure its made by the creators of dexters lab but i dont see its for kids only i thoghts it was funny enouth for aduklts aswell but thats my opinion

it's was for kids because it's an animated movie and the way thestyle of the characters are, but it had a lot of adult humor in it, which i think was there so adult would not be bored watching it.

yeah i still found it a fun movie even with its flaws (or maybe its made by the creator of dexters lab my childhood show who knows)
