first of all, I would like to thank everyone for the birthday wishes!
and also for all the supportive words for my previous journal, I take comfort in knowing I am not the only stuck in the limbo boat between getting away from my parents and living on my own. love you all
my birthday was actually a pretty good day considering, my parents decided to take me to the zoo since it would cheer me up a bit and I have been there in a while. while I was there I got a cute cheetah plushie. after spending all day at the zoo, we went my favorite restaurant for dinner and after that went to barnes and norble and went on a spending spree because I got a $50 gift card.
I got some pretty good gift this year, since I have been obsessed like crazy with the show ALF lately, I got a lot of ALF stuff, a very rare ALF pillow from germany, the ALF alarm clock from 1988 and surprisingly enough it still works! I also got an alf poster (will post photos of it later). of course I got a lot of other nice gifts, but these are ones I liked the most. so all in all not a bad day.
